Again, it will screen first on Foxtel, then on Channel Ten the next night.

Words can't describe how happy I am about this... I am inexplicably hooked on this series.

It's basically people watching TV... and we watch them. Boring? NO!

Here are the details for the new series (number two) and the hashtag - #GoggleboxAU - on  Wednesdays at 9.30pm AEDT on the LifeStyle Channel and Thursdays at 8.30pm on Channel Ten.

New Facebook feature: 'Nearby Friends', explained

Have you noticed the new Facebook feature which snuck into your phone overnight?

It's called Nearby Friends, and here is how it works.

On their site, Facebook says:

Today we are beginning to roll out a new feature called Nearby Friends that you can choose to turn on. Nearby Friends helps you discover which friends are nearby or on the go.

If you turn on Nearby Friends, you’ll occasionally be notified when friends are nearby, so you can get in touch with them and meet up. For example, when you’re headed to the movies, Nearby Friends will let you know if friends are nearby so you can see the movie together or meet up afterward.

Nearby Friends is an optional feature. You can choose who can see if you’re nearby (for example: your friends, close friends, or a specific friends list) and you can turn it on and off at any time.

Sharing your location with Nearby Friends goes two ways — you and your friends both have to turn on Nearby Friends and choose to share with each other to see when you’re nearby. Your friends will only be able to see that you’re nearby if you share this info with them and vice versa.

Find your friends nearby and meet up

If you turn on Nearby Friends, you can also choose to share a precise location with the particular friends you choose for a set period of time, such as the next hour. When you share your precise location, the friend you choose will see exactly where you are on a map, which helps you find each other. Then you can meet up and spend time together.

See when your friends are traveling

When Nearby Friends is on, you can see when your friends are traveling if they’re also using this feature and sharing with you. You’ll be able to see the city or neighborhood they are in, including on their profile. When you see a friend visiting a place you’ve been, it’s the perfect opportunity to send a recommendation for a great restaurant. You can also make last-minute plans to meet up with a friend who happens to be in the same place you’re headed to.

I take them like a grain of salt. If someone sets one up, I’ll happily go on it, but I don’t go in expecting to meet the love of my life, hence I’m still single. 

Are you a romantic? 
Yes. The most romantic thing I’ve ever done is surprised my girlfriend at the time with a little puppy and a little red ribbon at work, then laid rose petals at home and cooked her a dinner when she was doing it pretty tough. 

Describe your dream date.
Apart from taking a private jet to Paris for a weekend, I would say an evening boat ferry ride down the Brisbane River with some drinks and then stopping at one of my favourite restaurants. Some great food and wine then maybe some dessert and some post-dinner drinks with good music.

Aussie teen superstar, Rahart Adams (Nickelodeon’s Every Witch Way, ABC’s Nowhere Boys) is getting primed for slime as the host of Nickelodeon’s fourth annual SLIMEFEST!

The homegrown star, best known for playing Jax Nova on Nickelodeon’s hit tele nova series (produced in the U.S.), Every Witch Way, will be joined by International Magician of the Year, Cosentino for a show that is sure to be filled with messy, magical mayhem!

“I’m so excited to be hosting SLIMEFEST and dishing out loads of the green good-stuff throughout the show. It’s going to get crazy!” said Rahart.

“I can’t wait to get on-stage at SLIMEFEST and give kids and families the performance of a life-slime! I have a few tricks up my sleeve and trust me, it’s going to get messy,” said Cosentino.

YouTube sensation, BOYCE AVENUE will headline SLIMEFEST 2015, as part of a stellar line-up including THE VERONICAS, TIMMY TRUMPET and SAVAGE, AT SUNSET, REECE MASTIN and SAMANTHA JADE.

SLIMEFEST is a family-friendly music festival, featuring stars, DJs, live performances by local and international artists and tonnes of Nickelodeon’s trademark green slime. Sydney will be slimed on Friday, 25 September for two shows – 11am and 6pm and Melbourne on Sunday, 27 September for two shows – 11am and 6pm.
